14th Annual Crosslines Cruise
November 8, 2009

GROOVE and The Cave 104.7 sponsored the Annual Crosslines Cruise, and it was the biggest haul ever! A BIG thanks to John Kimmons at The Cave for getting the word out over the airwaves, Ron Foster for spearheading the event for GROOVE, and to Craig Davis at Roy Rogers Auto Parts for some friendly arm-twisting!

In the biggest Crosslines Cruise yet, 123 classic cars showed up to strut their stuff and haul in a HUGE load of toys for Crosslines, part of the Council of Churches of the Ozarks.

In addition, over $1700 was brought in. It's great to see such a large turnout and generosity in light of these tough economic times. The toys will help provide Christmas presents to 3500 children in Springfield and Greene County

The cruise started at Kickapoo High School and ended at Pathways United Methodist Church.

Thanks to the Classic Chevy club and the Show-Me F100s club for their great participation as well as all independent car enthusiasts and people who just wanted to help out the less fortunate in Greene County.
