Minutes from December 2009 Meeting

As usual, the Christmas Party and Mtg was well attended. The event was at Jay and Vicky’s house. Thanks to them for the use of their home. Vicky is so
gracious. The particulars were, 3pm, more or less, start. There were few at that time, so time was pushed back. Between 3:30 and 4 pm, everyone
started getting there.

At 4 we started the mtg. We had 25 or so present with the usual core group. The results of the officer position votes were as follows.
Pres. - Jay one more year. VP - Rick Eddy. Car show chair. Duane, one more year. Secretary - Charles (w/o skirt), Treasurer- Becky. Historian - Al, Website - Brad.. Newsletter- Mark and Tina (well sure) Another yr. We'll be looking at a car show committee idea to ease load on the
chairman. No reason to not work.

A Joplin show in Jan 2010 discussed. Non-vw a run what you brung event. Good looking VWs do well against Detroit iron. An indoor meet.

Jan mtg at Library on S. Campbell 1-23-2010 Sat 10pm. JBJ 2010 trophy ideas needed.
