Minutes from March 2009 Meeting

Many thanks to Allen and Marian Penrod for the use of their house for the club. Knowing how this is such a troublesome party group!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Bunch of old hippies. Oh wait, I'm one of those. At least that's what the young ones think. The mtg started at 4:40 pm (1640 hrs) with 23 on hand. After we got Jays Rat/Bus story done,(I enjoyed it) we got on with the show. The next mtg is slated for the 4-18th at the Spf.Imports Dealer at 2pm with scavenger hunt to follow. There are good and bad ways to do that with the point system used. Its a learning experience. Unknown if any eats there. 4-25? Roy Rogers VW work day. Also April date ? a campout in Eldon. More to follow as known. 5-9 Duane and Kathy's Trophy build and Bag stuff for JBJ. The usual food and what you bring. A good time to be had by ALL who attend. Many hands make light work. Besides, we're such fun to be around don't you think? This year's JBJ to be Red, White, and Bugs. I've invited the USMC Recruiting to be there. They will let me know if they can as we get closer. They need to see what their command may have for them to do. I recruited for about 5 yrs and know this to be true. This coming Sept 12, Charles and Renee to host the mtg and crazy hats at their house in the Walnut Grove area (out in the sticks). We'll post a good map prior to Sept. Its easy. Various other things discussed and you'll have to check out the running sched. of events that Tina has posted month to month. She does such a good job don't you think. Mtg done at about 5:50 pm (1750 hrs). The food as usual was more than ok. Twas down right tasty. As usual, more info to follow as it becomes solid.
